Point of the Proposed Technology

In terms of parts molding with carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) composite, we developed the automatic CFRTP tape lamination machine which can increase a material yield and reduce a lamination time substantially.

Technical Problems	By choosing the stitch yarn and the base material (fabric or film), it can be applied to both the same material as CFRTP resin and the material different from CFRTP resin. By using multi-head machine, plural laminations can be made simultaneously.. Tokai Industrial Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. provides not only lamination machines but control software.
